History
In the Fall of 2017, Annie Camp Jr High began offering robotics as an extra-curricular club after school. Members of the Jonesboro High School Robotics Teams began mentoring on Monday afternoons with the 2 newly formed middle school teams. During the 2017-2018 competition season, Hurricane Robotics hosted a VRC Robotics Tournament & one skills league. In March of 2018, both Whirlwind Robotics teams qualified to participate in the 2018 VEX IQ State Championship where they won the State Judges Award & were invited to attend the Create US Open National Championships in Council Bluffs, IA.

During last competition season, Whirlwind Robotics grew to include 3 competitive teams. All 3 teams qualified for State and Team 69414 had 2 teams receive special invitations to participate in the 2019 VEX VRC World Championships in Louisville, KY.
