Upcoming Tournaments
Starting with the 2015 Nothing But Net Competition, Jonesboro High School formed 3 brand new competition teams. All 3 teams qualified for the 2016 Arkansas VEX VRC State Championships on the campus of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR.

For the following year, JHS added a 4th team to compete in Starstruck (2016-2017) and all 4 teams qualified for State & the Create US Open National Championship in Council Bluffs, IA.

JHS maintained 4 teams for the 2017-2018 In the Zone competition season. All 4 teams qualified for the 2018 Arkansas VEX State Championships in March at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. Team #99402B won the State Robot Skills Championship and Teams #99402A & #99402C were Tournament Finalists. 3 Teams qualified to attend the 2018 VEX World Championships in Louisville, KY.

For the 2018-2019 Turning Point season we had 3 competition teams and all 3 teams qualified again for the 2019 AR State Championships at ATU. It was a banner year for Hurricane Katrina Team #99402C who achieved the following accomplishments during the 2018-2019 season:

For the 2019-2020 Tower Takeover season, our 3 teams are off to a competitive start.

This year, Hurricane Robotics will be hosting a total of 3 events for our VEX VRC teams: 1 Tournament and 2 Skills Leagues.
